THE COLLECTION by Shintaro Kago

We've been sorta overrun with Kagomania here the past week, haven't we? But I assume that nobody really minds, right? Today, we received another great gift from the manga-duo of Rizzah & Anonymous K over at Wanted: Cheap Manga - a new and utterly gruesome short scanlation of The Collection by Shintaro Kago.



This one is old style Kago, with a simple conceit and pretty realistic and grisly gore, like The Savage Mouth by Sakyo Komatsu or Chuck Palahniuk's Guts. As Rizzah explains it,
The Collection is a fucked-up story of one girl’s obsession with a dude. She collects everything he touches… EVERYTHING. Very NSFW, NSIFOYGF, and NSIFOYMAD (try to figure out those last two!).

    I've found that some Kago stories are safer than others... I managed to persuade my friends to read a few, and they enjoyed them. Those ones were really tame, though. There are some I definitely wouldn't show anyone.

    yeah, i liked this! maybe i don't know much about much but it was interesting to see a horror style comic coming from an alternative style art--- I mean since most horror manga i know has a pretty generic style =) twas a really cool story too x

    i'm really enjoying reading this blog btw, i do want to get electric ant...it's annoying i live nowhere near USA =(

    @thirtes: Yeah, this one is as gory as he usually is, but a little more linear than his grossest tales

    that one actually is one of tamer ones that kago has done. It's still a nice one though. thanks for posting it and I'm happy to see there are still kago-scanlations in progress apart from the kremlin-one. still wating for moar =)
