If you liked "Secret Comics Japan" or "Comics Underground Japan", you'd like this. It was published in 1995 by Fantagraphics Books, and features bizarres short stories by Imiri Sakabashira, Naoto Yamakawa, Kiriko Nananan, Nekojiru, Yasuji Tanioka, Yoshiharu Mitsumoto, and Naoki & Shunichi Karasawa.
You may recognize Nekojiru's work from Comic's Underground Japan, but did you know that there's an OVA movie out for her comics? My girlfriend pointed this out to me the other day. Man, I'm out of the loop... Click here for more info on that...

we suck, we know...Sorry for the long drought of posts. We've got a slew of comics in the works, but haven't had time to finish the touch-up and formatting of them yet. Evan tells me we will have a new comic by tomorrow, (maybe sooner) and we're working still on some sort of crazy mid-length masterpiece that will make you poop with joy! so don't give up on this site yet, pleeez!

We've just done another Yoshida Sensha comic, and we'll be posting it a little later this afternoon. In the meantime, we wanted to share the tiny few links to places that have linked our blog in the past week or so. It's super funny for us (and flattering!) to find the blog mentioned anywhere, but here they are: The first is someone who references a new Burger King commercial, and links to angle/humor of the spot to ... YOSHIDA SENSHA's 4-panel gag style? I hadn't seen the commercial before, but it's definitely odd enough to make the parallel. I think the guy waking up with a King is his bed doesn't look QUITE uncomfortable enough, but who knows.
