I swear that I'm working on a complete set of posts from my Japan trip, but in the meantime here are some Yuichi Yokoyama-related highlights!
At Mandarake in Nakano, the Japanese edition of New Engineering by Yokoyama
A painting by Yokoyama on the wall of an art book store in Kyoto.
Another rad painting by Yokoyama at that book shop near Sanjo/Kiyamachi

any thoughts would be appreciated
thanks / best
Leif
Do you mean, publications in Japanese or original artwork? If it's the latter, I have no clue but would be very jealous of you.
As for his Japanese publications, the 3 things that spring to mind are
1) Email PictureBox (although they are slow in the customer service and ordering department lately)
2) Visit a local Kinokuniya (if you are near NY, LA or SF)
Not sure of other options (beyond random boutiques or maybe Amazon.co.jp if you get some assistance)
good luck,
Ryan!
thanks for info Ryan
I am on a search for originals

Good luck Leif!
Talk to PictureBox too-- I rescind the stuff I said about their customer service and encourage you to get in touch with them--- they have the direct connection to Yokoyama and might be able to help if you're willing to pony up the dough!
happy hunting :)
