Suehiro Maruo is simply the greatest artist I knew ...
his art is unique and engaging, addressing controversial issues and unimaginable ...
is a shame but his works have only Ero-Guro and Heaven-The Smile of the Vampire ...
one day who knows I have all ^ ^

@Paul: Yeah, according to my friend Monika in Japan (who has the book) it's a hardcover. The ISBN looks to be:

ISBN-10: 4047260851
ISBN-13: 978-4047260856

This looks incredible.

Also of immense interest is the new Koji Wakamatsu film of Rampo's CATERPILLAR; an earlier filmization appeared in RAMPO NOIR and was directed by Hisayasu Sato.

@phantom of pulp: good point, I've not heard too much about the Wakamatsu film, but I'm very curious. The vignette in Rampo Noir was quite disturbing.

Thanks for the comments, Phantom! Glad to have you as part of the SH community. Ryan :)
